Do you remember the days when cars were easy to work on? Before everything became computerised. When you could fix things with a fairly basic bag of tools and a bit of common sense. Of course, modern cars are fantastically reliable, comfortable, safe & economical BUT…. I still love tinkering with my older motors.

A 1965 Glas Goggomobil T250 that I bought “sight  unseen” on eBay for 500€. I spent the next six or seven years (and more money than I care to count) fixing it up….

A 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Also seen on eBay. My first trip in it was 1000km  from London where I bough it, to my home near Stuttgart.

A modern (2008) Harley Davidson Sportster. With retro looks and technology from a bygone age.
